ajaximrpg releases version 5.00

I just released ajaximrpg 5.00.

ajaximrpg is an enhanced instant messaging client that runs completely
in your browser and is geared for use with table top role-playing
games such as Dungeons & Dragons.

The newest feature is character sheets. Character sheets are
supported via the bsheet plugin which allows you to create simple
character sheets, share them with other users, change character sheets
and automatically share the changes with other users.

What other features does ajaximrpg support?

Anonymous users with lobby (no account needed)
User can change his own name on the fly
User can whisper inside a chat room
User can perform an action
Chat rooms are password protected
Dice rolling
Automatic chat logging
Special GM mode

Why create ajaximrpg?

OpenRPG, the most popular system, has been falling apart for a long
time. Plus, it requires installation on the player's computer which
was a hassle for players and difficult for developers to push out new
features to existing users. I wanted something with zero installation
which made it easy for me to tweak and push out new versions to my
players. So, I invented ajaximrpg.

By the way, what's the difference between the normal package and the
yui package ?

ajaximrpg_5.00_yui.zip has had its .css and .js files optimized/
compressed with Yahoo! YUI Compressor tool.

I've wondered whether I should just make the default package
compressed and not distribute the uncompressed package.

But I guess that the uncompressed package is good for hacking and
tweaking, if you like to do that kind of thing, and the compressed
package is good for people who are having speed problems.
