Is there a way to permanently display a small avatar next to a user in
the buddylist.
Secondly, is it to have a bigger avatar popup if you mouse over your
buddy for 1 sec or something, ( like 50x50 ? ) because the current one
is too small, would be nice to also have this option in rooms to
mouseover

Thirdly, is it possible to have the avatar appear in the chat window
and maybe with a small bit of the user info.

Offtopic:
You can edit text for your profile information, however what use is
this ? Where does it appear and how can other people read it ?

1. Displaying a small avatar in the buddylist is an obvious feature
and you are right to ask about it. When I forked the code, it seemed
that avatar/icons were half-implemented; some work had obviously been
done but it didn't seem to work. Since then, I've been focused on RPG
features and haven't gone back to finish up these half-implemented
features yet. By chance, I happened to mess around with this code the
other day. I didn't fix it but it seems pretty easy to fix. I'm
sorry that this hasn't been done already and is broken in the current
build. It isn't a priority but I'll try to slip a fix in soon,
anyway.

2. Having the avatar pop up a larger image when you hover over the
small image seems like a sensible and easy to implement feature. That
shouldn't be too hard.

3. Having the avatar appear in the chat window with a small bit of
user info would be good, too.

4. Like #1, profile seems half-implemented as a legacy from the
fork. It should be fully implemented. I'm fairly sure that profile
does nothing; you can enter one but nobody can see it.

If you could submit these as two Feature Requests at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ajaximrpg/ , that would really help.

Up to now, the priority has been to make features for playing RPGs but
I plan to have a release where many of these basic chat features are
finished off.
