Tutorial links not working!

I am trying out the first step in tutorial but it seems like the link provided does not work.

http://evolvingweb.github.io/ajax-solr/examples/reuters/index.1.html

I get the following error -

http://localhost:8983/solr/select?q=*%3A*&wt=json&json.wrf=jQuery17204485298169311136_1449592485876&_=1449592485956 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (undefined field: "allText")

Tried with example index.html with solr running on my local machine. I get the same error.

I am not able to see results widget also at this link - http://evolvingweb.github.com/ajax-solr/examples/reuters/index.2.html

Please help
