Of course you can. Providing you have the Standalone Version nothing is stopping you.. Both versions are highly customizable.

hello is it possible to post ajax chat the private message in a popup window to the clik send private message instead of using / msg?

Ingrid S. made some efforts here, but it's rather old now and somewhat unfinished. I would love this feature myself, but there seems to be no one left working on something like that.
