Empty user's list and no messages in the chat window

Hello, guys.

I have free webhosting account with PHP 5.2 and mySQL 5.1. And now i want to use your application to chat with my friends.

Installation completed correctly. But I have some errors/bugs and can not use chat.

1) In logon page i have message 

'This page contains the following errors:

error on line 65 at column 1: Extra content at the end of the document

Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.' ;

2) I have successfully entered to chat using built-in username 'user' with password 'user'. But there is no logged in users in the rigth column, where must be showed online users;

3) And finally, when i type and send any message, they are not displayed in a main chat window;

4) Logout button doesn't work for me;

There is no errors in the Chrome's JavaScript console. And some records exists in table 'ajax_chat_messages'

Today I find some messages with similar problem (2 and 3), but did not see any solution. I have not huge experience in web-development, so i hope you can help me.

I'm facing a similar situation. The messages that i type are not displayed in the chat room and logout does not work.

I am using "v 0.8.7 standalone". I have followed the steps in the readme file, and it was quite straightforward. But, it just does not work any further than the login.

Also, initially i was getting an error "Extra content at the end of the document", which i found the solution was to change line 67 in config.php to --- "$config['contentType'] = "text/html";"

Does anyone have any ideas. The website URL is http://secret-crag.host56.com/chat/

Prateek when I visited your site I got a pop up from your host. If this is a free hosting environment then that maybe the cause. Most free host providers add extra content to the files causing issues. My suggestion would be to delete the chat folder and copy itover again and see if this helps also might want to delete the data base as well.

This chat will only work on some free hosts most of em dump data in the main js file(forgot what it was called) which screwed it up i fixed it with Hostinger.nl (apparently also has an English variant)
