In the stand alone they do not unless you have someone's mods that has registration. With the forum integrated version they would register through the forums. So if you need to add new users to the standalone version find lib/data/users.php and you can just copy one of the existing users line just make sure you follow the number sequence.

hellow again thanks for answering my question. but i have another question what php file do relate to login button on the login page im trying to hook your ajax chat with my website mysql using auto set room at auto fill user form but i can't seem to find where it related to get my target. tnx

First of all, 

Hi there everyone!  My name is Ronald, I am new to this group and found it very helpful and interesting so I decided to join you guys.
I have installed a standalone ajax chat to my current website and was facing the same problem with not having a registration system to have my users create their own accounts automatically.

This is a good mod but offers no password reset option for the user. I had some working files for the admin to reset the passwords but there is still no way for the user to request a reset.
