🚨 Hiring: Cyber Security Administrator
📍 Location: Albany, NY (Onsite – 5 Days/Week)
Employment Type: W2 Only
Work Authorization: Valid U.S. Citizenship Required (US Citizens Only)
We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, network security, and cybersecurity infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate, analyze, and remediate security incidents and alerts.
Monitor and support security technologies including Endpoint Protection, DLP, Vulnerability Management, Email Security, and Web Security.
Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise firewall systems.
Perform risk assessments and recommend security enhancements.
Monitor security logs, IDS/IPS, antivirus, encryption, and firewall technologies.
Research and implement new cybersecurity solutions and best practices.
Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, auditors, and external vendors.
Support cybersecurity audits and ensure compliance with security standards.
Participate in the Cybersecurity Operations on-call rotation.
Analyze emerging threats and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Required Skills:
Experience with Security Operations and Incident Response.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking fundamentals, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Understanding of cybersecurity concepts including IDS/IPS, privilege escalation, lateral movement, brute-force attacks, and threat detection.
Experience with vulnerability management, endpoint security, DLP, email security, and log analysis.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
