Job Description: Workday Solution Architect

 

Job Summary

 

We are seeking a seasoned Workday Solution Architect with over 15 years of experience in enterprise HR systems and automation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing existing Workday implementations, identifying areas for improvement, and driving automation and integration strategies.

This role demands deep expertise across multiple Workday modules and a strong background in integrating Workday with third-party systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Implementation Review & Optimization

Assess current Workday implementations and configurations.

Recommend improvements to enhance performance, usability, and compliance.

Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline HR processes.

HR Automation Expertise

Leverage experience in HR automation to design scalable and efficient solutions.

Collaborate with HR stakeholders to digitize and optimize workflows.

Workday Module Expertise

Provide architectural guidance across various Workday modules including HCM, Payroll, Talent, Recruiting, and Financials.

Lead configuration and customization efforts aligned with business needs.

Integration Strategy & Execution

Design and manage integrations between Workday and third-party systems (e.g., ERP, payroll, benefits platforms).

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across integrated systems.

Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with business leaders, HR, IT, and external vendors to align Workday capabilities with strategic goals.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.

Governance & Best Practices

Establish and enforce Workday architecture standards and best practices.

Conduct design reviews and provide mentorship to Workday consultants and developers.

 

Qualifications

 

15+ years of experience in enterprise HR systems, with at least 8 years focused on Workday.

Proven track record of reviewing and optimizing Workday implementations.

Hands-on experience with HR automation tools and methodologies.

Expertise in multiple Workday modules and integration frameworks (EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors).

Strong understanding of data architecture, security, and compliance in cloud environments.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Workday certifications preferred.
