The Order is a horror drama television series created by Dennis Heaton that ran for two seasons streaming on Netflix. It was written by Heaton, Shelley Eriksen, Rachel Langer, Jennica Harper, Penny Gummerson, and Jason Filiatrault. The series premiered on Netflix on March 7, 2019.[1] The series stars Jake Manley, Sarah Grey, Matt Frewer, Sam Trammell, Katharine Isabelle, and Max Martini.

The Order follows college student Jack Morton (Jake Manley) as he joins the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, a secret society that teaches and practices magic. As Jack goes deeper into the organization's history, he uncovers dark family secrets and an underground battle between werewolves and the magical dark arts.[5]

On April 17, 2018, it was announced that Netflix had given the production series order for a first season consisting of ten episodes. The series was created by Dennis Heaton who will also act as writer and executive producer. Additional executive producers are set to include Shelley Eriksen (head writer), Chad Oakes, Mike Frislev and David Von Ancken. Production companies involved with the series include Nomadic Pictures Entertainment.[5][7][8][9] On March 28, 2019, it was announced that the series was renewed for a second season of 10 episodes.[2] On November 14, 2020, Netflix canceled the series after two seasons.[4]

Production for the first season began on April 18, 2018, in Vancouver, British Columbia, and concluded on July 20.[10] Filming for the second season commenced on August 6, 2019, and ended on November 7, 2019.[11]

The fictional Belgrave University was portrayed by various buildings of the University of British Columbia Vancouver Campus. The aerial shots of campus, however, are of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. The Blade and Chalice bar was set in the UBC Old Auditorium building. The abandoned building housing The Order is the Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam.[12]

On February 21, 2019, the official trailer for the series was released. The first season was released on Netflix on March 7, 2019.[13] On June 15, 2020, the official trailer for the second season was released.[14] The second season was released on the streaming platform on June 18, 2020.[3]

The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported a 100% approval rating for the first season with an average rating of 7.5/10, based on 6 reviews.[15] On Rotten Tomatoes, the second season has a 100% approval rating with an average rating of 7.68/10, based on 5 reviews.[16]

The Witcher: Fireplace: This is quite literally what is says on the tin, just a fire place. Watch it whenever (I don't see why you would though!). However, it is at Kaer Morhen so if you want to avoid spoilers for what that looks like wait until it's introduced later on in season 2.

The Witcher: Bestiary: The full names for this is actually The Witcher Bestiary Season 1 and it is available in 2 parts. As such it only goes over monsters in the first season. You are fine to watch it after the first season to avoid spoilers.

The Characters of the Continent: I've not watched it yet but this appears to go over characters in the series including those in series 2. To be safe from spoilers you probably want to watch it after season 2.

The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf: This is an animated spin off focusing on a younger Vesemir. It isn't necessary to watch but watching it in release order should be fine so after season 1 and before season 2. Though you may wish to watch it at any time.

The Witcher: Blood Origin: This is going to be a mini-series spinoff focusing on the first of the Witchers. It's not out yet so we can't say for certain but it is likely not necessary to watch. I'd probably watch it in release order so probably after season 2 and before season 3 but as above I imagine it can be watched at any time or not at all.

The crossover between Arrow and The Flash was officially the first of the Arrowverse and laid the groundwork for future crossovers. Every future season of Arrow and The Flash would have a crossover in the eighth or ninth episode.

As Supergirl remained relatively separate from the rest of the Arrowverse, for the most part, in season one, you can get away with watching the majority of the series without worrying about continuity. Look out for episode 18 for when The Flash makes an appearance.

The fifth year of the Arrowverse saw the addition of Supergirl to The CW after leaving her first home at CBS. Despite not having an official crossover episode with the rest of the Arrowverse, Supergirl still took part.

It took six years, but the Crisis on Earth-X crossover became the biggest crossover event of the entire franchise up to that point. Using four of the five Arrowverse series, the four-part crossover was the first to feature four episodes.

The seventh year of the Arrowverse introduced Batwoman and Lois Lane to the franchise and Gotham City. The Elseworlds crossover reduced the number of episodes for the crossover but was the perfect set-up for the most anticipated crossover of the entire franchise, Crisis on Infinite Earths.

After eight long years of waiting, fans of the Arrowverse were treated to the most iconic event in DC history, Crisis on Infinite Earths. The five-part crossover (six, including Black Lightning) was the culmination of hundreds of hours worth of storytelling.

Year 9 also saw the introduction of the series Superman & Lois, a spin-off of Supergirl. However, just like Batwoman and Stargirl, the introduction of any new Arrowverse titles has not come to Netflix.

This is the first time since year one that there are no official crossover episodes. Some iconic Arrowverse actors returned to reprise their roles in the final season of The Flash; however, these did not count towards any crossover episodes.

A little confusing, we know, but definitely worth working your way through. Want to know how? Read on for everything you need to know about the difference between Top Boy and Top Boy: Summerhouse, as well how to watch previous seasons of the show in order.

But if you're wondering whether the two series are linked, they most definitely are because they continue to follow Sully and Dushane's drug dealing efforts, just with a focus on their earlier days in the Summerhouse estate.

While you could probably still watch Top Boy without watching Top Boy: Summerhouse, the latter provides crucial context for the show, despite some of the characters no longer appearing in the Netflix series.

Top Boy season 5 is available on Netflix, with previous seasons available to stream now on Netflix. Sign up for Netflix from 4.99 a month. Netflix is also available on Sky Glass and Virgin Media Stream.

However, over time their obsession level ramped up (at least in part because Grace became really wrapped up in working on her own Book of Dragons). When my kids start asking to watch the same show every day, I sit up and pay attention. That combined with the fact that I am often in the room with them when they are watching TV, has led to me getting drawn further and further into the dragon riders of Berk, and to be honest, getting sucked into the setting and storylines.

This, of course, made me want to watch the movies, and as I started poking around I came to the realisation that there was a heck of a lot more Dreamworks Dragons stuff out there that we had yet to see (in total there are three movies, two older television shows, a handful of short films, plus the Netflix exclusive series).

Next up is a handful of short films; Gift of the Night Fury, Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon, and Book of Dragons. You can find all of these on Netflix, and I recommend streaming them there versus trying to hunt down the DVD versions, which can be pricey.

The short films can be difficult to locate on Netflix. For example, Book of Dragons and Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon can be found bundled together under the title How to Train Your Dragon Legends.

After that come two seasons worth of Dreamworks Dragons television episodes. These originally aired on the Cartoon Network, and are currently available on DVD. The first season was called Dragons: Riders of Berk. You can find it on DVD packaged as Dragons: Riders of Berk Part 1 and Dragons: Riders of Berk Part 2. The second season was called Dragons: Defenders of Berk. You can find it on DVD packaged as Dragons: Defenders of Berk Part 1 and Dragons: Defenders of Berk Part 2.

Thank you SO much for your quick and easy guide on how to watch how to train your dragon. We were completely lost! We started watching one episode from Dragons: Race to the Edge and realized there were new characters, enemies and quarrels so I looked for some guidance on the net and found yours! SO happy for that!!
Best wishes from Argentina!

Thank you very much. I love how to train your dragon 1 + 2 and a friend of mine told me there is more, because her son loves it in german. I prefer english to improve mine. So you guided me what I really want to buy.

For those of us who still have Netflix DVD service, all of Riders of Berk and the first half of Defenders of Berk are available through it. I also successfully requested that my local library buy the second half.
