This weekend has been my 40-year high-school reunion (which I helped organize and has been a blast through and through, FWIW). At last night's dinner dance, someone I hadn't seen since we graduated asked me what I was doing these days, so I gave him a brief (really; I can be brief! :) ) update. He asked me for a business card so he can get in touch next week and have me do some writing for his medical practice's website!

Just a reminder that it's a good idea to carry those business cards wherever you go. This friend could easily reach me through reunion contact info, but the business card makes it that much easier for him to have direct contact info and for him to remember to make that contact. Of course, I'll reach him if I don't hear from him by mid-week, but still; we often meet people for whom we don't already have that information.
