I got way behind in reading my online subscription to the Washington Post for the past couple of weeks and only just saw the May 8 obituary for Dan Rapoport. He was one of the founders of AIW (WIW, as it was in the beginning), one of my favorite DC and WIW colleagues, and a wonderful writer. A sad loss for the writing and freelancing communities, and for AIW.
