INTRO: Becky Wolsk, Text Isle Patchwork

My name is Becky Wolsk. I've been a member of AIW since the WIW days of yore, and have benefited from the conferences, the website, the newsletter, and this emailing list (especially Ruth E. Thaler-Carter and Ken Norkin, and the late Bob Pastorio's posting of his simple, elegant recipe for cauliflower * ).

I am a quilter and write-at-home mom, and my website is www.textislepatchwork.com.

My fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Cookie Magazine, Flashquake (where my story was an editor’s pick), Literary Mama, Work-in-Progress, secondladies.com, What If?, Glass Quarterly, Brain Child, Imperfect Parent, Eighteenth-Century Fiction, and in arts and humanities databases. I am a graduate of Concord Academy, Brown University, and the Masters in English program at the University of Pennsylvania.

My second novel, Six Words, is about a scavenger huntress, and it should be ready for the literary agent hunt by February 2010.
