Dear Sir,

For your kind information and Facebook/twitter update

It is my pleasure to share the latest achievement of Acro-Coding-Club in IIT Bombay TechFest 2016, students of CS/IT 3rd year had participated in 'Quantum Code (a competitive programming contest), organized by IIT Bombay as a part of their annual Techfest to be held in December, in the central zone held at Oriental College of Engg., Bhopal on 25th September. Only top 3 teams are selected from each of the five zones for the final round to be held at IIT Bombay on 16th December.

After the record-breaking selections in Google Code Jam 2016  and CodeChef Snackdown by Acro-Coding-Club, our club has climbed another milestone, I'm glad to share with you that one of our team, Apurv Wagh & Atif Khan,CS-1 3rd year, stood 2nd in the central zone among the 200+ participants in the contest and are invited to the final round to be held at IIT Bombay on 16th of December.

There was a tie for the first position and unfortunately we lost in the tiebreaker question to NIT, Bhopal which stood first in the contest.

Three other teams from our college also got participation certificates for scoring more than 75% in the contest.
These teams include:

1) Yash Jain(CS-4 3rd year) & Kshitij Paliwal(IT-1 3rd year)
2) Aman Gupta(CS-1 3rd year) & Manjeet Thadani(CS-2 3rd year)
3) Ankit Singh(CS-1 3rd year)

This is the result of one-year of continuous hard-work under Acro-Coding-Club, which resulted in such a big achievement. Hopefully, this encourages young CSites to participate in programming competitions and develop programming as a hobby!
