Dear AITAA National Chapter Presidents,

This morning (September 26, BKK time) many of you attended the Chapter Presidents' meeting. I was in and out of the meeting due to some personal engagements. However, I did make some requests and clarifications which I want to place on record for those who needed clarification and as well as to keep all others informed.

1. I am in charge of the Technical sessions of the first Global Symposium of AITAA on the theme : Sustainable Technology Innovations: with Social Impact in; Agriculture, Environment, and Digital Transformation; the themes are expanded to include Agricuture Food and Water, Energy REnvironment and Cimate Change and Smart Cities and Digital Transformations. We have already received some speakers from Vietnam, India,New Zealand and Canada. We have also received suggestions from AIT Extension with whom we are partnering this symposium several speakers . We are awaiting from you any suggested speakers and resource persons whom we can assign as Moderators/Chairpersons  and panelists. I have already sent you the suggested toics please feel free to send me your suggesions ver early but not later than September 30th. 

Any speakrs/ resourcepersons we can not accomodate in this symposium will go into a ressource pool whom we shall suggest to AITEx for future activities.

2. I am also as the Chair of AITAA Ex-Com chapter Governance committee I woud like to request you to send your annual report and your noiminees to the GBM, this year the Chapter governance ruels are effectve which we adoted at the last GBM and it stipuates among other requirements, that each of the chapters a) submit the annual report and b) make a voluntary contribution which is specified in the chapter governance rules already sent to you by the President Mme Fe.  There was a query at the meeting if Sub Chapters can be represented at the GBM: the answer is yes but as obsrvers; but though there may be sub chapters already formed in your countries, the AITAA Head quarters has not been notified officilly, Hence please send us the details of such sub chapters in the format I shall send you in due course.   All other alumni in your chapters or oither wise are most welcome to join the GBM as observers too on Facebook and other social media platforms which will be informed to you in due course. 

This is to confirm what was transpired at the meeting of Chater Presidents' meting held on September 26th meeting.
