Hi all, I'd like to announce an upcoming Physical Review E article in collaboration with Marcus Hutter: https://arxiv.org/abs/2308.06927

Following Bennett, Zurek, Gacs, and others, it argues in much greater detail that the most principled way to define thermodynamic entropy is in terms of the Kolmogorov complexity. We hope this sparks new discussions, and makes AIT interesting to a wider part of the physics community. This work is loosely related to our earlier cover article on the arrow of time: https://www.mdpi.com/1099-4300/26/9/776

I am open to further collaborations relating to either of these topics!
