Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Agentic AI Developer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem to design and build enterprise-grade single-agent and multi-agent autonomous AI systems.
The ideal candidate should possess strong backend engineering experience in Python and/or C#, combined with hands-on implementation of Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, RAG pipelines, vector search, and agent orchestration frameworks.
This role requires building scalable AI agents that can reason, plan, retrieve knowledge, call tools, and execute tasks autonomously in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Agentic AI Development
- Design and develop single-agent and multi-agent AI applications using advanced agentic patterns.
- Build autonomous agents capable of:
- reasoning
- planning
- function/tool calling
- memory handling
- enterprise knowledge retrieval
- Develop short-term, long-term, and vector-based contextual memory systems.
Azure AI Platform Engineering
- Build enterprise GenAI solutions using:
- Azure OpenAI Service
- Azure AI Foundry
- Azure AI Search
- Azure Functions
- Azure App Services
- Deploy scalable cloud-native AI workloads in Azure.
RAG & Knowledge Retrieval
- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines.
- Work with embeddings, chunking, semantic retrieval, metadata filtering, and hybrid search.
- Build enterprise search systems using vector databases and Azure AI Search.
Multi-Agent Orchestration
- Orchestrate AI agents using:
- Semantic Kernel
- LangGraph
- AutoGen
- CrewAI
- Implement agent communication, state transitions, retries, approvals, and guardrails.
Responsible AI & Governance
- Implement:
- observability
- audit logging
- explainability
- safety controls
- human-in-loop workflows
- Ensure enterprise data security and compliance.
Enterprise Engineering
- Build production-grade backend services, APIs, and asynchronous workflows.
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, databases, and third-party services.
- Follow CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native engineering practices.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or C#
- Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI Service
- Strong experience with Azure AI Foundry / Azure AI Search
- Experience building RAG architectures
- Hands-on with vector databases
- Experience with Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI
- Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, structured outputs
- Experience with REST APIs, async processing, error handling
- CI/CD, DevOps, cloud-native development
