Hey lads,

This thread will be for posting & exchanging links regarding anything, until we can figure out a wy to host a website for the AISoc [im working on providing an http://aisoc.org, or even better, and http://aisoc.cu.edu.eg]

anyways, if anyone is interested into the field of Natural Language Processing [my grad project goes there :)], then these links should come in helpful

• OpenNLP: portal for all the NLP projects on SourceForge
• GATE: very good architecture for using and deploying NLP projects, including architecture, APIs and a GUI for testing
• Ellogon: another alternative, also very popular and powerful
• Enju: another very powerful system [courtesy Reda], that can process english and JAPANESE !
• LingPipe: Java based API for NLP... not quite famous, but looks promising
• Delph-In: Collection of different projects [mainly research papers] regarding NLP in many languages... very good on HPSG and Deep Processing
• Project DeepThought: a VERY powerful & large project, funded and under development by the EU... read and be amazed :)
• ICCS: An institute at the University of Edinburgh [:):)] that focuses in research on communication between humans and machines using text & speech
