I am writing to share the Ramzan card created by Bebaak Collective for this year. The card has been designed as a thoughtful gesture to acknowledge the spirit of Ramzan, a time for reflection, compassion, and community.
Through this card, we have written a series of duas that speak to concerns around women’s rights, dignity, and justice, while also reflecting on the climate of hatred and division that many communities in the country are currently experiencing. The intention was to centre Ramzan as a moment of collective prayer, solidarity, and hope for a more compassionate and equitable society.
We have already shared the card within our community spaces, where it has resonated with many members. We hope that these prayers and reflections can also encourage conversations around empathy, care, and accountability.
