We will run a content-heavy, magazin-style, event-calendar website. The ideal candidate is keen to populate our website (www.germany- and-india. com) with content (texts, links, images and videos) through our Content Management System (CMS) and takes delight to see the website growing. Who we are: Starting now until end of 2012 an event program series called "Germany and India 2011-2012: Infinite Opportunities" is being initiated by the Goethe-Institute / Max Mueller Bhavan. On the occasion of celebrating 60 years of Indo-German diplomatic ties, "The Year of Germany in India" is an exciting and colorful event program including a roadshow across 7 Metro Cities and establishes a direct link to the implications of rapid urbanization and change in India. While having it's focus on ‘StadtRäume – CitySpaces’ the program covers fields of politics, business, education, research, science and culture. Qualification: · Knowledge of Office Software. · Good English language skills. German language skills are not mandatory. · Motivated, communicative personality. · Interested in PR related Journalism. · Experience with Webdesign or Content Management Systems. Duties: Managing and publishing mainly arts and culture related content through our Content Management System (CMS). Managing our online accounts on Youtube, Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google. Light graphic editing like resizing and cropping of images. Basic text editing like shorting and spell checking of texts. Testing the website and reporting of errors. This is a junior managing position but also applications for internship will be considered.
