Internships Opportunities – Library and Public Information
UNESCO New Delhi office welcomes interns to learn about UNESCO’s programmes and assist in the implementation of its activities in Library and Public Information.
At present, the Library and Public Information division at the UNESCO New Delhi Office is looking for an intern with a qualification in Information Sciences as well as a good knowledge of English and Hindi. Basic knowledge of UNESCO’s work in South Asia particularly in India, will be regarded as an asset. The candidate should be in a position to start the internship as soon as possible and be willing to do his/her internship at UNESCO New Delhi office for a maximum period of 6 months.

Opportunities for internship are limited and will be undertaken on a voluntary basis. UNESCO does not fund or support any costs incurred by the Intern, including living and travel expenses, etc.

UNESCO New Delhi office welcomes interns to learn about UNESCO’s programmes in the Communication and Information Sector, and assist in the implementation of its activities.
At present, the Communication and Information Sector at the UNESCO New Delhi Office is looking for an intern particularly with the back ground of journalism, media or communication studies as well as a good knowledge of English and Hindi. A basic knowledge of UNESCO’s work in the communication and information sector will furthermore be regarded as an additional asset. The candidate should be in a position to start the internship as soon as possible and be willing to do his/her internship at UNESCO New Delhi office for a maximum period of 6 months. Applications will be screened by the Advisor for communication and information, UNESCO New Delhi office on a regular basis.
