I had my AQE streaming data to COSM for about a week or so after I got it, and noticed that the readings were really high. I think I read in a thread somewhere that there was a simple division error with the software that required an udpate to fix?
I tried to follow the instructions today to reflash my AQE, but keep running into this error when running avrdude:
"avrdude -c arduino -p t88 -P /dev/tty.usbmodem1421 -b 19200 -U flash:w:railroad.hex
...
avrdude: Device signature = 0x000000
avrdude: Yikes! Invalid device signature.
Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override
this check."
Seems strange that the device signature be zero, but was wondering if anyone has advice? Here's my environment:
* OSX 10.7.5, MBPro Retina
* AVRDude 5.11.1 (installed with homebrew, but I tried the bundled Arduino one too)
* using Leonardo as the programmer
* ArduinoIDE 1.0.1

I am trying to reflash our shield using an Arduino Uno.
I have uploaded the arduinoisp and then put a 10uf capacitor between reset and gnd.
and connected the egg as specified. However I am getting the response
avrdude: AVR device initialized and ready to accept instructions
Reading | ################################################## | 100% 0.02s
avrdude: Device signature = 0x000000
avrdude: Yikes! Invalid device signature.
Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override
this check.
Any thought?
Thanks - Helen
Double check the convective between your Uno and the Sensor Shield... something is either miswired or not connected.

Vic
