ethernet shield and air quality shield

hi,
I have the ethernet shield and the airquality shield with arduino uno. I am stuck on how to program it in arduino to send the sensor data to Xively. Has anybody got some step by step instructions or better still an example? I have examples for both but not together and confused how to go forward.
