We warmly welcome you to our sixteenth session, a special YOUNG x WISDOM Online Seminar Series “Machine Learning NeEDS Mathematical Optimization”, which is a satellite event of https://congreso.us.es/mlneedsmo/.
In each session, three junior academics show their latest results in the field of Data Science and Analytics, where Mathematical Modeling and Mathematical Optimization is at the core of their presentations. This time we have the pleasure of having:

Ms Nuria Gómez-Vargas from University of Seville, talking about A predict-and-optimize approach to profit-driven churn prevention.
Ms Maria Eduarda Pinheiro from Trier University, talking about Mixed-Integer Quadratic Optimization and Iterative Clustering Techniques for Semi-Supervised Support Vector Machines.
Ms Bahar Taskesen from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, talking about Distributionally Robust Linear Quadratic Control.
