We warmly welcome you to the fourteenth session of our YOUNG Online Seminar Series “Machine Learning NeEDS Mathematical Optimization”, which is a satellite event of https://congreso.us.es/mlneedsmo/.
In each session, three junior academics show their latest results in the field of Data Science and Analytics, where Mathematical Modeling and Mathematical Optimization is at the core of their presentations. This time we have the pleasure of having:
Mr Nathan Justin from University of Southern California, talking about Learning Optimal Classification Trees Robust to Distribution Shifts.
Mr José Ángel Martín Baos from University of Castilla-La Mancha, talking about Can machine learning methods effectively model travel mode choice? Beyond predictive performance.
Ms Ioana Molan from Trier University, talking about Learning the Follower’s Objective Function in Sequential Bilevel Games.
