We warmly welcome you to the eighth session of our YOUNG EURO OSS on Operational Research and Machine Learning, which is a satellite event of https://euroorml.euro-online.org.
In each session, three junior academics show their latest results in the field of Data Science and Analytics, where Mathematical Modeling and Mathematical Optimization is at the core of their presentations. This time we have the pleasure of having:
Farnaz Farzadnia from Copenhagen Business School on "Explaining Deviations from Prior Knowledge in Cluster Analysis".
Sebastian Merten from University of Passau, on "Interpretable Surrogates for Optimization".
Francesca Da Ros from University of Udine on "Dynamic Temperature Control of Simulated Annealing".
