Passengers traveling to all destinations except Los Angeles and Canada may carry baggage with a maximum dimension of 158 cm (62 inches). The airline allows a maximum weight of 66 lbs (30 kg) for Business Class passengers and 50 lbs (23 kg) for Economy Class passengers.

Passengers traveling to/from Los Angeles and Canada in Economy Class may carry one suitcase with a maximum dimension of 150 cm (62 inches) and a maximum total weight of 50 pounds (23 kg). Business Class passengers may carry two pieces of luggage with a maximum dimension of 150 cm (62 in) each, and a maximum weight must not exceed 66 lbs (30 kg) each.

Fiji Airways excess baggage allowance and fees
Passengers carrying excess baggage will have to pay additional charges to keep it with them. Economy class passengers will be required to pay additional baggage fees if the bag size exceeds 50 pounds (23 kg) and a maximum dimension of 158 cm (62 inches). Fiji Airways checked baggage weighing more than 66 lbs (30 kg) is prohibited. Additionally, Fiji Airways baggage fees depend on additional baggage carried, route selected, etc.

Passengers with additional baggage can purchase excess baggage allowance with any available mode to avoid additional charges or losses. The extra baggage service applies per piece and can be purchased up to 4 hours before the international flight departure and up to 2 hours before the domestic flight departure. Additionally, travelers can purchase a maximum of 2 pieces of luggage on an international flight and one piece of luggage on a domestic flight.

Travelers carrying oversized luggage may bring bulky luggage in excess of the permitted limit for additional charges. These charges depend on the flights departing and arriving at a specific destination. For domestic flights, passengers must pay for bulky items weighing more than 33 pounds (15 kg). Fiji Airways Special Baggage Allowance
If passengers carry hand luggage, cargo, checked luggage or any small bag, they will be subject to mandatory control. The airline will do this using an X-ray machine, physical and manual search or portable detectors. Additionally, all desired checks will be manually carried out by the airport authority or Fiji Airways security contractors.
Restricted Items – A list of items that are restricted from being carried during the flight with Fiji Airways. These prohibited items, such as knives, metal objects, spare parts and sharp or pointed objects, are not allowed as carry-on baggage. However, all of these items mentioned above can be placed in checked baggage.
Checked and checked baggage: Checked baggage must contain only personal items and nothing such as generators, chainsaws, spare parts, etc. These mentioned objects will be transported as checked baggage.
Aerosols and liquid gels (international flights): Passengers can only carry liquids, aerosols and gels in quantities less than 100 ml. If the limit is exceeded, the airline will not allow it in the cabin or as a personal item/carry-on luggage.
