[Inviting Applications] 'The Vriksh Fellowship' for Social Leaders | Deadline: Sept 30, 2021

Dear Ones,

It gives us immense pleasure to announce The Vriksh Fellowship with a purpose to financially support the journey of early-stage Social Leaders who are working for the benefit of economically or socially disadvantaged sections of Indian Society (anywhere in the slums, rural or tribal areas).

The fellowship is an initiative of Sahaj Foundation, and it envisions to provide a monthly support of Rs 12,000 to select Social Leaders for their personal daily sustenance while they continue to do their work with communities full-time. The pre-requisites of this 2+1 years long fellowship require the applicant to be 1) a founder/co-founder of the initiative 2) engaged with the not-for-profit social initiative full-time for minimum one-year.

हमें द वृक्ष फ़ेलोशिप की घोषणा करते हुए अत्यंत खुशी हो रही है। यह फेलोशिप सहज फॉउंडेशन की एक पहल है, और इसका मकसद सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं की आर्थिक रूप से सहायता करने का है। हम उन कार्यकर्ताओं की मदद करना चाहते हैं जिन्होंने अपने सामाजिक उपक्रम को हाल ही में शुरू किया हो और जो भारत के सामाजिक या आर्थिक रूप से पिछड़े समुदायों को (स्लम, गांव या जनजातीय क्षेत्र में) बेहतर बनाने की इच्छा रखते हों।

इस फेलोशिप के माध्यम से हम कुछ चुनिंदा सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं को हर महीने 12,000 रुपये उनके निजी खर्चों को पूरा करने के लिए देना चाहते हैं। इस 2+1 वर्ष लंबी फेलोशिप की निम्न कुछ शर्तें हैं:
1) आवेदक अपने उपक्रम या पहल का संस्थापक होना चाहिए।
2) आवेदक अपने नॉट-फोर-प्रॉफिट पहल में कम से कम 1 साल से फुल-टाइम काम करता हुआ होना चाहिए।
