Dear Ones,

We are pleased to announce our next initiative नया दौर, नयी कल्पना! - an online gathering program for re-imagining Life and Society.

We are passing through quite an unprecedented event in our life. An event that is full of suffering, and yet equally full of possibilities of miracles waiting to happen in next few weeks or months. It is more like a transition that is bound to be painful in its process while it may lead us to a more beautiful world by the end.

In this hope of Transition, नया दौर, नयी कल्पना! invites you to this six weeks long program that shall use books written by many visionaries as its guiding light. The idea is to collectively go through these books, reflect on the concepts that the authors' have proposed, understand their possible impact on value system, and critically analyze the practicality of the proposals for their actual on-ground implementation. The use of meditation sessions, videos/talks and group activities shall also help us to deepen our experience.

The first version of the program aims to focus on 'Re-imagining Economy' as its theme, continue for six weeks from April 20- May 31, 2020, take up three books as its guiding light, host 2 online gatherings per week (90 Mins each) and seek 90 minutes of commitment from its participants every day (for self-reading or for online circles). It is going to be a rigorous journey wherein you shall get to delve into not only the possibilities of transition but also your own self.

For more details related to logistics and finance, kindly explore the link here.

Three books that we plan to take up for the present theme shall come from the following choices:

1. Doughnut Economics- Seven Ways to Think Like a 21st-Century Economist by Kate Raworth
2. Economy of Permanence by JC Kumarappa
3. Small is beautiful- A Study of Economics As If People Mattered by E. F. Schumacher
4. Sacred Economics- Money, Gift and Society in the Age of Transition by Charles Eisenstein

If you find yourself interested, kindly fill the application form here. Also, do help us to spread the word!
