This morning I updated DJI Fly on my Android phone prior to making a flight.

After the flight, I attempted to sync the flight records with the AirData app (also on my phone). AirData wasn't able to locate today's records, but could see the flights made before the update. I checked the FlightRecord folder on my phone where previous records are stored and don't see today's flight. The DJI Fly app does show today's (and previous) flight records in the app.

Does anyone know how to access the FlightRecord data as stored in the new version of DJI Fly? Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for posting this comment. I just downloaded the latest version of DJI Fly (V1.15.8) on my Android device and completed a test flight. The flight was still stored in the FlightRecord folder and the AirData app successfully uploaded it. Perhaps you can perform another test flight?

If anyone else is having trouble locating the logs after updating DJI Fly, feel free to comment on this thread and we'll dig in further.

Best,

Thanks for the reply Trevor.

Some time after I posted the comment, the flight records did appear in AirData. I'm unsure why the sync didn't happen immediately.

I found the flight records at 'Internal storage\Android\data\dji.go.v5\files\FlightRecord'.

As I mentioned, the records eventually synced later on the 6th, and after flying again on the 7th, the records synced as expected. I don't understand why the records didn't sync immediately after the flight on the 6th, or why I couldn't locate these record via search using File Explorer from my computer via USB cable.

The problem with Murphy is that he was an optimist.

Have a great day,

Jim,

There are a few factors that could play into why the flights didn't upload right away via the AirData app (internet connection, a server delay, etc.), but it is odd that you couldn't locate the logs via the File Explorer in the FlightRecord folder as they should be placed there immediately after the flight concludes. Feel free to comment here if it happens again.
