Subject: Re: Flip to Airdata
Hello,
Thank you for writing. It sounds like you are trying to sync your flights to AirData using
Direct DJI Sync.
There are a couple of reasons why your flight logs may not be syncing with this same method using your DJI Flip.
DJI Credentials
For AirData to retrieve your flight logs, the DJI credentials (email) you have provided in your AirData account must match those used in your DJI flight app.
Could you please confirm that, for the flight logs not syncing, the email that you are logged into DJI flight app with matches the email you have entered on AirData under My
Account -> DJI Login?
Yes they do.
Syncing Flights to DJI's Servers with Direct DJI Sync
Another common reason for flights not syncing with AirData is that they haven't been synced with DJI's servers yet. To recap, the flight data goes from your control device to DJI's
servers and then to AirData. You can confirm that your flights are synced with DJI's servers by checking the cloud icons on the Flight Data Center page. This
help page offers some guidance on how to verify this.
*Please also ensure your control device is connected to WiFi when syncing flight logs to DJI's servers. We are not using a phone or tablet, but an RC2 controller that does not allow the addition of apps
Auto-Sync Setting in DJI Flight Apps
We’ve also heard reports from some users that updates to DJI Fly may reset the "Auto-Sync Flight Records" to DJI's cloud setting back to disabled. Could you please double-check
in your DJI flight app settings that auto-sync is still enabled?
This help article contains a short screen recording
highlighting where to find this setting.
If after checking the above items you are still experiencing trouble syncing your flights, please reach out to our dedicated support team at
sup...@airdata.com, and we would be happy to help further troubleshoot.
Kind regards,
Teresa

Hi, I am struggling to get my flight records from my Flip to appear in Airdata. I have the autosync selected on my RC 2 controller and understood my flights would simply sync to DJI cloud then on to Airdata. This already happens with my M2EA so don't know what I'm doing wrong with the Flip?
