I've got an old Samsung S22 that I've started to use as my DJI Mini 4K display, so I can keep my new S25 free for use.

It's displaying a warning about "limited" auto sync status, because of changes in Android permissions.
I've tried the instructions that point at installing Shizuku to fix the issue, but the Google Play Store is saying the app isn't available as it was made for an older version of Android.
The manual import flight logs process does work, but it's a pain :-(

Is there a way to get the auto sync working?

What has me puzzled is it that the auto sync on my current Samsung S25 is working fine, and it does NOT have Shizuku installed ???

Cheers,
SteveC.

Hi Steve,

Thank you for sharing this question.

You are correct that there are new Android permission changes which are limiting AirData's access to flight logs.
The changes affect most Android 13+ devices. However, some devices are unaffected.
This may be why Auto Sync continues to work on your Samsung S25.

The new Manual Import method was designed to assist with uploads on restricted Android devices.
We typically recommend this method over enabling Shizuku, as it does not require setting up a third party app.
If you would like assistance setting up Shizuku, please feel free to send us an email at sup...@airdata.com

Thank you. Have a great weekend.

Best Regards,
Tom

Tom,

is it possible to install without going the Google Playstore?

Cheers,
