It is important to note that our DAT support is primarily available for a limited range of older aircraft, as newer DAT logs tend to be encrypted. When conducting a DJI flight, there are typically two flight records that are created – one is stored on the drone itself (DAT file) and one file is stored on the phone/tablet (TXT file).
Due to DJI's encryption, AirData only supports DAT files for the aircraft listed in
this article - unfortunately, the DJI Neo drone DAT files are
not supported by AirData. However, we recommend that you upload the DJI Neo TXT files, which are much smaller than the DAT files and are indeed supported by AirData.
Uploading Flight Logs
The best method for uploading flight logs will depend on your controller/phone/tablet model, your flight app, and your workflows. For detailed directions on uploading flight logs to AirData, please visit our uploads help page:
