On the home page, it shows a brief overview of weather conditions. It will say something like "14 sats below 100m" what does that mean in laymans terms? I have searched google all over, but get unwanted results.
Thanks

14 Satellites visible from an altitude of less than 100 metres, as far as I know. The higher you go, the more the bird can see, usually.

Thanks! that makes sense. Now a follow up Q: it gives a hourly breakdown.
Like this
1pm good to fly
2pm good to fly 3pm good to fly
4pm 14 sats below 120m
5pm good to fly
etc
So does it mean only for that hour? What is the usual number?

Probably just means there is a lesser number at 4pm than at 3 or 5. The more the merrier, but I never pay much attention to how many it can see, as long as there's enough to fly.
