Hello everyone,

I'm currently trying to integrate a XAG P150 with AirData and would appreciate any guidance from anyone who has experience with this.

I have a few questions:

  1. When creating an aircraft manually in AirData, it requires selecting a manufacturer and model. Since XAG is not listed, how do you register a XAG drone? Is there a recommended workaround?
  2. Has anyone successfully used AirData Mobile on a XAG ControlStick (Android-based controller) to upload flight logs?
  3. If AirData Mobile can be installed on the controller, does the aircraft need to be linked or configured in AirData beforehand, or will the app automatically detect and upload the flight logs?
  4. Is there any official or recommended method to synchronize XAG flight logs with AirData, or is manual log import currently the only option?

Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Hello,

Thank you for writing.

At this time, the XAG P150 is not currently on AirData's supported aircraft list. For unsupported aircraft, please reach out to us directly at sup...@airdata.com so we can review your specific setup and discuss compatibility.

When you reach out, please also include:

  • A few sample flight logs from the XAG ControlStick.
  • The name of the flight application used.
  • The location/path where the flight logs are stored, if known.
  • Whether the XAG ControlStick allows third-party Android applications (such as AirData Mobile) to be installed.

Flight logs are typically stored on the controller used to conduct the flights.
*Please note that any flight logs you send will only be used internally for the purpose of evaluating compatibility with AirData.

Our engineering team can review the logs to determine whether support is possible and what the best path forward would be.

Regarding your other questions (creating the aircraft in AirData, using AirData Mobile on the XAG controller, automatic uploads, and synchronization methods), the answers depend on the controller, flight application, and log format being used. Once we have that information, we'll be happy to provide more specific guidance.

Thank you for your time, and we look forward to hearing from you!

Kind regards,
Teresa
