Hello,

I am flying volunteer for a Search and Rescue Team using their DJI M30T drones. Being a non-profit organization on a tight budget, they have not subscribed to services such as AirData. However, I would like to upload my flights on their equipment into my AirData account (HD360 Level) for flight hour tracking. I cannot find instructions on which files to download from the RC controller using DJI Pro2 Software.  Is this possible?  What files need to be downloaded and are their instructions?

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for writing with this question.

It sounds like you're trying to upload flight logs from a DJI M30T aircraft using the DJI RC Plus or RC Plus 2 controller, is that correct?

If so, we have a dedicated help article that outlines the steps for uploading flight logs from these controllers to AirData. You can review this resource here: https://app.airdata.com/wiki/Help/DJI+RC+Plus%2C+RC+Plus+2

If you have any further questions or run into any issues, feel free to reach out to sup...@airdata.com and we'd be happy to help!

Kind regards,
Teresa

Teresa,

I saw this article earlier, and it only discusses how to automatically load all flights using the app. That is not my situation.

I do not own this drone. I am a member of the team who uses the drone. I only want to be uploading the flights that I fly. The team does not have a subscription. I would like to extract the files manually, and then manually upload them into my profile. I do not want the files of the flights not flown by me on this drone.

 Where are those instructions, please?

Hi,

Thanks for your follow-up and for the clarification.

While we don’t currently have a dedicated resource for manually uploading flight logs from the DJI RC Plus controller, here’s some information regarding manually uploading DJI flights:

For manual flight log uploads, AirData supports the .txt files generated by the DJI M30T. These files typically look like this:
DJIFlightRecord_2022-12-01_[11-15-07].txt

To locate these files, you’ll need to connect the controller to your PC via a USB cable. When manually uploading flight logs, the flight logs will need to be copied to your computer desktop before they can be uploaded, as dragging the files directly from the remote controller to your web browser will not work.

Additionally, the video shared by another user on this thread provides useful information as well.

I hope this helps clarify the process. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out.

Kind regards,
Teresa
