I've been using Airdata on-and-off and am going full-gear now; I installed the app on my DJI smart controller.  It only synced some of my flights, and I was able to figure out that it was syncing from the folders on my device (where some of them were saved) instead of from my External SD card in the device (where most of them were saved).  I was able to pull the sd card and upload them like normal, BUT, it would be nice if the Airdata app settings allowed the user to point to either internal or external.

Hello,

Please see below for an overview of how the AirData app will sync flight logs from the Smart Controller.

If the SD card is in, it will be the only visible filesystem for both AirData and for the DJI flight apps.

When removing or inserting the SD card, you need to restart the Smart Controller to change where AirData looks for the logs.

So initially, we recommend syncing both with and without the SD Card (reboot in between).

Moving forward, if the SD Card is in - AirData will sync the flights from the SD card automatically.

I hope this helps to clarify!

Best,
Trevor

Yes, that did the trick, I just tested and can confirm!  Thank you!

Is this still the case? Records aren't syncing from SD card when I've set SD card as default storage location on Matrice 300 Series DJI Smart Controller Enterprise.

Hi dazonic,

Thank you for posting this question.

I checked with our engineering team. They confirmed that Trevor's instructions from the post on Apr 20, 2021 still stand.
They also noted that this SD card behavior is not something we're able to change on our end.
This has to do with how DJI has configured the Smart Controllers.

If you have any additional questions, please let us know. You can also email us at sup...@airdata.com

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Tom
