Hi, I see some posts with essentially the same question but no answer! My first drone was a Mavic 2 Zoom but I sold this a year ago and it had 4 batteries. I then bought an Inspire 2 and sold 4 of the 6 batteries that came with it.
It seems I cannot delete them without deleting the flight data. However, surely the flight data, to a point, shows experience and hours and distance flown. Would that then be reduced if I erase this kit?
I own 3 drones and so the battery capacity is exhausted. I do not want to upgrade this account but seems I cannot archive kit I no longer have.
Please advise!

Yours,
Marcus

Hi Marcus,

Thank you for asking this question and for sharing your use case.

In this scenario, our recommendation is to simply continue flying and allow your old equipment to be archived automatically by AirData.
There is no need to manually---or otherwise---delete your equipment profiles.
This way, your flight statistics will stay intact.

In the case of our account equipment limits, any new equipment you use will "push" your older, unused equipment into the archived area. If you use the archived equipment again, it will be reactivated.

If you have further questions or would like further technical clarification, please see our email from Sup...@AirData.com.

Thank you. I hope this helps.

Best Regards,
Tom

Is there a way to archieve drones manually? Since I use an enterprise account I can add an unlimited number of drones but there are drones that I no longer use or were rented by me. These drones still appear in the maintenance overviews and require service. I'd like to remove or deactive them without losing the fight data.

Hi,

Yes, there is a way to deactivate an equipment profile so it no longer appears on the maintenance page.

When you navigate to EQUIPMENT -> DRONES, or BATTERIES, you can select a single piece of equipment and change the operational status to "No".
There is a link in the top right of the equipment profile that will read "Edit Drone Details" or "Edit Battery Details".

Please see this screenshot from a demo account: https://share.cleanshot.com/mwNBnd

Changing the operational status to No will remove that equipment from the maintenance list.

Thank you. I hope this helps. Please send us a message at Sup...@AirData.com if you need further assistance in this.

Best Regards,
Tom
