I have successfully set up My Badge as my Email Signature but it doesn't update? For example I set it up when I had 8 flights logged, I now have 13 logged flights but if I create a new email it still shows as 8 flights. If I set it up again it will update to 13 flights but when more flights are logged it will remain saying 13 flights?

Hi David,

I'd be happy to help you with this issue.

In order to help us better troubleshoot, can you let us know a) Which email client you are using, and b) Which email provider you are using?

Also, do you know how long you are waiting to send an email after uploading new flights to your account? Sometimes, it may take a few minutes for the badge to update.

Thank you. We will follow up as soon as we hear back from you regarding your email client and provider.

Best regards,
Tom

Hi Tom

Thanks for helping.

A) The email client I am using is the Microsoft one that came installed with my Windows 10 laptop, 'Mail'. (Version 16005.14326.20970.0)

B) My email provider is Talk Talk in the UK.

C) The badge updates on the Airdata website but not as my email signature. it is currently saying I have done 8 flights and has not been updated with two flights uploaded on 10 August, two flights uploaded on 12 August and one flight uploaded on 16 August.

Further information; I set up a Hotmail email account for my drone YouTube channel and the signature works correctly with Hotmail.

Hi David,

There is a known issue with flight badges updating in Outlook that may also be affecting the default Windows Mail client.

On Outlook, you may need to configure the signature to not embed the image in it.
Please see this known issue for Outlook on Mac. There are some solutions in that article on how to edit the signature in a way that allows the images to be updated.

Also, this link is for Windows and may give you more insight - see "Linked images are sent as embedded":
It looks like you may need to edit the signature file directly and paste the HTML code from AirData.

I hope this helps. Thank you.

Best regards,
Tom
