Issue is the subject.

I'm able to get the most recent build/apk on my controller.  I've triple checked permissions for installing apps from apk and I can start the install.  The bar runs across the screen like it's installing then I get the message "App not installed".  Restarted.  Deleted the download and redownloaded.  Makes me think this build isn't compatible with the Anzu controller.

Any help is welcome.

I wanted to give an update that I've tried all of the builds that have released between 02/08/25 and today (build 314) and they all continue to return the same error, "App not installed".

Hello,

Thank you for your update and for sharing the details of your attempts with the recent builds.

After further investigation, it appears that the Anzu Raptor controllers are now restricted from installing third-party apps. Without the ability to install the AirData UAV mobile app on the controller, auto-syncing these flight logs will unfortunately not be possible.

For concerns regarding this restriction, we encourage you to share your feedback directly with Anzu Robotics. Your input can potentially influence future updates and help advocate for improved compatibility.

Thanks again for your time.

Kind regards,

Can you please provide additional information about this?  Did Airdata add support for the ANZU Raptor drones in an echo chamber?  Did you guys simply test the app, see that it worked once, then added it to the supported list or is has there been some actual back and forth between Airdata and Anzu on getting support added only for it to be removed?  Is Airdata in communication with Anzu to resolve this?  I can certainly reach out to Anzu regarding my wishes for Airdata to work on their drones, but what is AIRDATA doing about it?

Hello,

Thank you for your follow-up and feedback.

When we initially added support for the Anzu Raptor controllers, it was based on feedback from users who were able to successfully install and utilize the AirData UAV app on the device. At that time, the installation process appeared to work without issue.

Since then, it seems that a recent change has restricted the ability to install third-party apps on these controllers. While we’re unable to control those restrictions directly, we are actively working to reach out to Anzu to better understand the situation and explore possible solutions.

We appreciate your willingness to reach out to Anzu as well.

In the meantime, we are working to support manual uploads of Anzu flight logs, and this functionality will be available within the next few days. We will be sure to update this thread as soon as it’s ready. This will allow you to continue tracking and analyzing your flight data.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Kind regards,
Teresa

Hello,

As mentioned earlier, we have been working on a way to support Anzu Raptor flight logs despite the current restriction preventing the installation of third-party apps on the controller. We’re happy to share that manual upload support is now available.

To upload your Anzu Raptor flight logs to AirData, follow these steps:
  1. Connect your Anzu Raptor controller to a computer.

  2. Navigate to the following file path on the controller:
    Internal shared storage/Android/data/ai.aloft.ac_pilot_app/files/Raptor/logs/[Flight Folder]/log.json
*Each flight will have its own folder within the logs directory, named based on the flight timestamp.

  3. Copy the log.json file to your computer desktop.
*Important: When manually uploading flight logs, the flight logs will need to be copied to your computer desktop before they can be uploaded, as you cannot drag files directly from the remote controller to your web browser.

  4. Upload the file to AirData using our Manual Upload Page: https://app.airdata.com/main?a=upload.

While this manual upload option allows you to track your Raptor flights in AirData, we recognize that auto-syncing is the ideal solution. As we’ve mentioned before, we are actively reaching out to Anzu to better understand this restriction and explore possible solutions that would allow AirData UAV to be installed again for seamless auto-sync.

That said, we'd like to reiterate that user feedback could potentially influence future updates. If you'd like to see AirData UAV and other third-party apps supported on Anzu Raptor controllers, we encourage you to share your input directly with Anzu Robotics. Hearing from users may help bring attention to this restriction and lead to improved compatibility down the line.

We appreciate your patience and engagement on this topic. Please feel free to reach out to sup...@airdata.com with any additional questions.

Kind regards,
Teresa
