How to enable the XR4.2 to work on Windows 8.1 and up

The device is not plug and play and after hardware connection with the USB cable the device is unusable. 
The red light is on but no driver appear. 

Please advise

Hi Gil,
It's probably because your Win already has Bluetooth build-in.
Go to the device manager, disable the current Bluetooth by clicking on the BT driver (not the enumerator)
and disable.
Then plug in the Host XR and Win will automatically assign the right driver.
