Aqua Flow has a product you may be interested in if you are using dye
sub transfer prints or if you are interested in doing so.
The product is not released yet but it is available in limited
trials.
Sub-Rub Liquid is a spray on treatment for 100% cotton fabric tee
shirts, blue jeans or what ever. when the coating has dried you can
heat transfer print
your dye sub prints brilliantly on to the fabric. The great addition
to this process is that the Sub-Rub treatment is a natural for bonding
the Aqua Flow
airbrush colors as well. The blending of dye sub and airbrushing on
100% cotton hasn't reached this level of quality and durability
before.
One application for airbrush artist is transferring guide lines or
outlines to the tee shirt before airbrushing, or you can transfer full
photographic quality
images to the garment and blend in airbrushing making your final art a
hybrid airbrush dye-sub image. You are not able to detect where the
airbrushing
ends and the dye sub begins or overlaps due the lack of any texture
variation in the final hybrid art.
To speed up production you can quickly apply the Sub-Rub Liquid to the
fabric using a touch up gun, the coating can be dried in a heat press
in seconds.
The transfer of the dye sub print is done at 350 degrees F. for 1
minute.
Wash durability is very good for both the dye sub and airbrush
elements of the design.
The airbrushed art with the dye sub print are cured in the normal time
and temperature typically when dry 1 minute at 350 degrees F.
