Hey Guys!

First of all, Panoramix is great! It is much more flexible and has more features as compared to Pivot for visualizing real time data in druid. I am fairly new to Panoramix but managed to create my own dashboard but cannot create filters (we can filter data in Pivot on a dashboard).

Can anyone please guide me how to create filters on dashboard in Druid?

thanks in advance ;)

Let me clarify my question further -

I do understand that I can pre-filter the data while creating the slice and add that slice on the main dashboard (well that works!) but I don't want my end user to modify the slice. I want him to have filters on the main dashboard by which he can change the slice data. For instance - filter by date : last 10 days only and then slice info will change to only last 10 days or a given date range. Another example: I want my data filtered by a given dimension X so I can create a filter on the slice with values of dimension X and when the end user will select the filter, the data in the slice should change automatically on the main dashboard.

Hope it makes more sense now :)

Thanks
Sid

There's a "Filter Box" widget you can define in "explore" view and add to your dashboard. Also the "Table" widget can act as a filter.

You may want to run the version in master as a lot of improvements have been done in that area lately. I think the video has an example on how this works from a user perspective:
