Hi,

I just set up superset and added a new database and table. However when i click on the table named I get the following error:

This endpoint requires the datasource event, database or `all_datasource_access` permission

You do not have permissions to access the datasource(s): event.

I am logged in as a user with admin privileges. I have attached a screenshot for reference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ali

Can you `pip install superset --upgrade`, I just pushed 0.13.1 which should address these issues.

Hi Maxime,

Thanks for the quick response! Upgrading fixed the front end formatting but not the underlying issue. I've attached a screenshot of what I am seeing now. I set up a new db, tested the connection and saw that the event table was found. However I see the error message in the picture when I try to click on the event table. Additionally, the new db i set up doesn't appear as an option in sql lab.

Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated. I'm running this as the admin user.

Thanks,
Ali

I've added one more screenshot. This is what I see in the access requests page but don't see an option to actually grant access.

Did you run `superset init` in the install process? Mind running it again?

That did the trick. Thanks a lot! I have one final question but will start a new thread for that.
