Hello,
Is there a way we can remotely / locally check if airflow is up and running ? When we say "up" essential services like scheduler etc. to make airflow working should be running.

Joy is working on a scheduler page to tell you the status of the scheduler in a bit more detail. I also think Aoen is working on a task-level debug page to tell you why tasks aren't running.
Not really a solution to your problems right now, but people are working on it.
