Lazear Charter Academy is looking for a highly motivated individual who is willing to utilize innovative methods of teaching to engage middle school students in exciting engineering and technology courses. The Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Gateway To Technology program is the best of its kind in the United States. It provides students with world-class STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education, applied to the classroom through real-world, hands-on projects and activities that help them understand how the information and skills they are learning in math and science can be applied to real life. Students are encouraged to find solutions to problems, work in teams, and are ultimately better prepared for the 21st century STEM workforce. Summer training will be provided for the instructor.
