Dear all,
Thanks Gopal G and Om g for your invaluable time for todays discussion at the Moksha Bar with regard to the upcoming DRR-Policy consultation in the Kailali district. Please let me share the following understanding and actions to be taken for this consultations for your circulation and internal arrangements. Please feel free to add if I have missed anything important to be reflected from today's meeting.
Discussion Points: 1. Formation of a local coordination team; 2. Budget arrangements; 3. Event management team
Agenda 1. We have firmed a task group for local level coordination for this upcoming district consultation in Kailai.
Task Force Team: 1. Mr. Budhhi Kumal- Practical Action
2. Mr. Praksh Ghimire- CBM
3. Mr. Tungad Chaudhary-WVIN- Lead
4. CARE---Please nominate a colleague-by this week
5. LWF- Please nominate a colleague--by this week
6. Oxfam- Please nominate a colleague-by this week
Agenda 2-3: We discussed on tentative budget needed for this event and managing event on 9th March 2017. The proposed task group will be working on budget and the event management along with some other tasks during the next week.
Major Tasks of this group includes: 1. Consultation with DDRC- CDO of Kailali and follow his instructions
2. Ensure wider participation of different groups of the people including, disadvantaged people, people having disabilities, children, and women etcs.
3. Calculate tentative expenses and draft a budget for this event- Costs associated to this event will be bear by 6 organizations (Oxfam, WVIN, CARE, CBM, PA and LWF)
4. Book an appropriate conference venue
5. Facilitate in organizing the event on 9th March 2017
6. Maintain effective level of visibility of the participating organizations
@ DPNet: Dear Ram sir and Upama G, Please let us know if there is any organization representing DPNet and which could be of our support in this process in Kailali.

Thanks for your prompt responding.
There will be some general agenda during this meeting tomorrow. This meeting indeed will identify a scope of contribution of all of the organizations who are interested in Kailali consultation. We will also come up with a coordination and communication mechanism within us for this consultations. I think this sitting will be the entry points for us for this initiation at this moment.
Any other key agenda from you and other colleagues could be discussed on.

Dear Jagadish ji,
Is it all coordinated from Kathmandu for this district event or it will be from concerned district/region? Our colleagues in Nepalganj/Tikapur(Rajapur) will coordinate this on the ground. I copy them in this mail and they could coordinate each other there if it is not being steered from Kathmandu.
For tomorrow’s meeting would be great to know agenda we discuss. Of course, how to organize workshop is the theme. Is any estimate carried out on how much being spent for the workshop and how that budget being organized? We noted the meeting. Is the attached location right?

As you all are aware on the proposed date and our role for the district consultation in Kailali , I would like to request you all to have a small meeting so that we will have clear understanding on how we can move forward for this process and also we will have clear idea on mobilizing our Kailali team for this purpose. The proposed date for the consultation is on 9th March 2017. Are we all agree on this date? If not please let us explore an alternative date.
In this connection, may I request you all to meet for a lunch meeting at the Moksh Bar, Jhamsikhel on 2nd March during 12;00 TO 13;00 hours?

Finally we achieved the budget target NPR.6,670,750.00 according to the revised budget to production of DiDRR materials too.
DPNet-Nepal will forward multi lateral (agencies) MoU from Friday.
Please find the attachment for concept and final budget sheet for your reference.

Please prepare the MoU accordingly and proceed for final signature through respected focal person of the contributing agencies.
