Hello.
I’m using Aimms in a project reading and writing from a Oracle DB. The
model works perfect, I’ve tried it with an Access DB but as soon as I
execute it with the Oracle ODBC it shuts down.
Here’s the error I get: “Severe internal error executing line 1 in
user-defined function section "MainExecution", if the problem persists
after restarting AIMMS please contact AIMMS technical support via
Sup...@aimms.com: The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual
address for which it does not have the appropriate access.”
The line 1 in MainExecution is: “read Suc from table SucProc;”

Yours,
Mauro.

try using a diferent provider. AIMMS does have some problem with some
providers for Oracle... if possible, move to Microsoft SQL, the
connection is much better with AIMMS.

I've worked it out.
I have changed the Oracle Driver from 11.2 to 10.2. It wasn't easy but
it's working.
