Hi,

I received the following error while running MIP model in AIMMS:

The current period value '' is not an element of horizon "StartTime".

Could you please let me know why this error is occuring and also let me know how I can resolve it?

Thanks,
Mo

Hi Mo,

I think that you either explicitly put the empty element '' in the current period attribute of the Horizon, or that you put an element parameter there that is not initialized (and therefore has the default value '' also).

AIMMS cannot work with this empty value, as the value of the current period is used to determine the border between what is considered to be the past and what is considered to be the start of your current planning horizon. Using the value '' here does not have any meaning. For an example usage of the Horizon, please take a look at the tutorial for professionals that you can find in the AIMMS help menu.
