Registration link for Vasai Virar Mayor's Marathon (VVMM) is above. The last date for registration is 7th November, 2015. It is one of the best organised marathons in India. The full marathon starts from Virar at 6.00 a.m. whereas the half marathon starts at Vasai at 6.45 a.m. There is a special train for the runners which leaves Churchgate station at 3.00 a.m. and there are buses which will pick up the runners from Vasai and Virar railway stations.

Is there anyone that has done the FM in about 5 hrs and can we know what the arrangements for aid station, volunteers, traffic on the course etc were?

Dan, excellent arrangements. Plenty of water and food supplement stations every 2 kms, mobile volunteers on mobike for medical and even hydration need between the aid stations ( just give a shout and they will pull out a chilled water bottle for you ), one medical aid van steering up and down and loads cheering from school children and gaonwalas en route. I have run fm in 2012 ( 3.55 ) and 2014 ( 3.54 ), will miss this year as not in town on the race day. I would say go for it, have fun, enjoy the hospitality of Virar's mayor!

ps: and totally flat track..flatter than my flat boobed aunty friend:))
