Dear AIML Developers,
Now that Google Code is officially being retired, would you consider moving Program AB and/or Free ALICE AIML Set to GitHub? Google has made this process easy.
If you're afraid about no maintainer, I'm volunteering myself to take it. You can create an organization in GitHub and add me as owner, and move the program-ab repo and other resources into it.
Currently there are several forks of
program-
ab in GitHub, including our own at
https://github.com/lumenitb/program-ab. Having a "canonical"
program-
ab source will make it easier to track forks and collaboration.
A little of background motivation of mine: Soon I'll start working on my master thesis "Semantic Reasoning with Natural Language Understanding-based Interaction for Controlling Lumen Social Robot" (
http://lumenitb.github.io/reasoning-thesis/) which I plan to integrate OpenCog, Neo4j, and
Program AB to make it work. So indeed I plan to maintain
Program AB at least for the duration of my thesis (~next 9 months)
Thank you.
Best regards,
Hendy Irawan
